The DiGiTiZeR™ method consists of a vehicle mounted survey station installed with High accuracy,
mutually correcting dual GPS, the DiGiTiZeR™ survey software, IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit)
to take care of urban canyon situations, Digital video cameras which record GPS-synced streams,
and a voice tagging.

The surveyed data is collated for post processing, where it is DGPS corrected, and then
processed into POI data in one of the survey layer groups, the Road obstruction and attribute
data (Link impedances, Turn Impedances) are converted to build topology. This is enabled by
the Data Preparation Toolkit which has a comprehensive toolset for building topology and
cleaning data.
